ABOUT CAPITAL CITY PRIDE
Capital City Pride was established in 1978 when a group of courageous people marched from the Iowa State Capitol to the Blazing Saddle in the East Village. It is with their spirit that we have continued for more than 40 years, effecting positive change, diversity, and celebration. We produce events that inspire, educate, commemorate, and celebrate our community, our culture, and our values.
